This year we have decided against going to the Dyke march...

1) It's suppose to rain
2) I dont feel like getting a babysitter
3) Something about a bunch of women walking from children's hospital to bidwell park banging on buckets and chanting just inst my idea of fun
4) Im all for reclaiming words from derogitroy meanings to happy positive meanings but honestly Im just not in the mood this year.

5) not really a fan of Bitch and Ferron (Though Bitch's GF is an actress on the L word... )

Pride parade day...

Bring out your gay boys, tranny's and lesbians all the floats and politicians who are actually trying to suuport ALL their constituents.

Colage, pride, unity, lgbta, all the support groups, spectrum, etc,

Lots of rainbows Even the city of Buffalo already has Elmwood lined with rainbow flags. I love Buffalo. Not just any city would do this for the pride month that is June.

Our hosts this year....

Have to admit I have no idea who the lady is but the guy is a very nice gay news reporter from a certain local tv news channel...

Many groups will be on hand to entertain, many tables and arts and crafts to check out and who can resist the food... anything from hotdogs and hamburgers to fried dough and everything in between.

Last year was a record turn out for the pride parade and festival at Bidwell. A record # of lgbt folks and even more importantly their supporters. So whether you are gay, leabian, straight, bi, confused, experimenting, or even a heckler(yes we have those too but the po-pos and angry lesbians do a good job of silencing them- peacefully of course:)) Come on down sunday. L, J, and I will be helping out i the COLAGE tent from 3 - 4... the very kid friendly tent where your little ones can make their own art / craft...
